Meredith Carlisle spends her days (and most of her nights) engrossed in adventures featuring kick ass female heroines doing battle with all sorts of monstrous creatures and their own self doubt. In real life she lives in a haunted house and doesn't go to the bathroom without turning on a light. She refuses to live in a world where magic isn't real.

Meredith lives with her family in beautiful southeast Tennessee, surrounded by history, mountains, and the awe-inspiring Tennessee River. Her work typically features a strong Southern voice, unique settings, paranormal elements, and a splash of the Steampunk aesthetic. Whether she's writing her own words or relishing in someone else's, she's most at home between the pages of a good story.
